Join writer Shawn Micallef, Associate Editor of one of my favorite blogs Spacing as well as the Magazine of the same name in discussing how growing up in an automotive border town inspired him to pursue urban-minded projects. Associate editor of Spacing Magazine, Micallef created the mobile phone documentary called [murmur] which allows people to hear memories and stories of specific geographic locations.It's really unfortunate that Shawn's lecture is taking place at the same time as the DWBIA's symposium on Downtown Regeneration Through Campus Location, because I've been a fan of Shawn's work and would love to hear him talk about how his early life in Windsor has shaped his views on urban design.
